GG Crispbread is not a traditionally baked crispbread. The special recipe allows the crispbread to be more flexible which is ideal for using crispbread in recipes, as well as the traditional use as a standard crispbread. Founded in 1935 by Gunder Gundersen, who created the recipe and began producing bran crispbread as a ‘Health Bread’ to ease digestion problems and supplement his diet with fibre.
It has been officially adopted by the Norwegian summer and winter Olympic teams for over 40 years.
