Donna's 'SCAN BRAN' - Healthy B -Chocolate cake!!!

If you know Slimming World, then you have most likely heard of Donna Turner AKA 'Donna_tackles_slimmingworld' and all her mouth watering food creations on Instagram.

We teamed up with Donna and she created something very special for us in the form of CHOCOLATE CAKE!

HERE IS HOW TO MAKE DONNA'S SCAN BRAN - HEALTHY B - CHOCOLATE CAKE!

Ingredients:

  • 10 GG Crispbread
  • Sugar free chocolate flavouring
  • 2 tablespoons of sweetener 
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 tablespoons fat free yogurt

– Soak 10 scan bran crispbreads in hot water until they break up easily
– Drain the excess water from the scan bread
– Mix in a bowl 2 eggs, flavouring, greek yogurt & sweetener.
– Add the egg mixture to the scan bran and mix together
– Pop the mixture in a cake tin and cook on 200 for 25 minutes 
– After cooking leave to cool for 5 minutes and then pop the cake out onto a cooling rack to finish cooling.
– The scan bran cake is ideally eaten in one day (it uses up your healthy extra b allowance plus 2 syns) 

Donna topped her chocolate cake with 1 pot of vanilla kvarg with sugar free icing sugar , 1 meled tbsp toffee sauce and choc sprinkles.

Works out a 1 HEXB plus 2.5 syns for half a cake!
* As with all added fibre, make sure you drink plenty of water as this will aid the transition of the fibre through the gut and will obviously keep you regular without bunging you up!
